Congratulations to this amazing group of young writers in Mrs. Mattice’s Creative Writing elective who once again had their writing selected for publication!

These juniors and seniors had their scary stories selected for publication in a book called Fright Club, which will be available this spring. Their writing was chosen from more than 50,000 submissions nationwide!

Their stories will also appear in the June edition of Introspection, the High School literary magazine. We’ll make sure to share the online magazine when it’s ready!

“These students are on fire! This is their 3rd professional published piece so far this year,” said Mrs. Mattice. “Currently, they are working on podcasts, memoirs, how-to writing, and cosmic horror fiction for the New York Times Student Contests. They are such incredible writers and have been writing so much this semester!”
