Helpful Tips
Activate Your Account – You can activate your account anytime using the ParentSquare website. Login using your cell phone number or your work email address.
Personal Cell Phone – While your personal cell phone number is used to login to ParentSquare, parents and guardians can not view that number. The number is also used when the district sends alerts (such as closing or delays) but parents, guardians and staff won’t be able to see the number in ParentSquare.
Notification Settings – You can customize when ParentSquare sends you emails, text and app notifications. Options are instant, digest (sends you all notifications around 6:00 p.m. in digest format) or off. Select your name in top right > “My Account” > “Notification Settings” on left.
Office Hours – You can set Office Hours so families know you’re unavailable during certain times. If a parent/guardian tries to Direct Message you during “Off” hours, ParentSquare will ask them if they are sure they want to contact you during this time; parents/guardians can still message you but the system makes them stop and think whether to contact you during your regular work hours. Select your name in top right > “My Account” > “Office Hours” on left.
