Meet “Lightning”, Mrs. Madej’s new class plant! Kindergartners chose the name after reading “The World’s Best Class Plant” by Audrey Vernick and Liz Garton Scanlon.

“We discussed as a class all the pets we could have and how to take care of them,” explained Mrs. Madej. “After reading this story we decided a class plant would be the best for us! Meet our new class plant ‘Lightning’. The students are excited to take care of it and watch it grow throughout the year.”
