Mrs. Mankuski’s kindergartners made their own butter last week as they celebrated Dairy Month with guests from the NYS Dept. of Agriculture & Markets and Cornell Cooperative Extension!
“We used heavy cream in a closed container and our own man power,” explained Mrs. Mankuski. “We then tried our butter using crackers. The students truly enjoyed this experience!”
Guest educators also gave students stickers, coloring books and key chains. Thank you for visiting and sharing with our students!
