Congratulations to Schalmont 7th grader Hania Khan who won this year’s Middle School Spelling Bee!

Hania won the competition, which lasted 16 rounds, by correctly spelling the winning word “rancid”.

Hania will go on to represent Schalmont at the next level of competition in February.

Congratulations also to our runner-up 7th grader Peter Gorman, who won the competition two years ago, and all of our spellers who did such a great job Tuesday evening! #sabrepride
