Schalmont Earns Music Award

Schalmont has once again been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation. The award is given to schools that “demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.”

2nd Graders Visit Preschoolers

Mrs. Hughes’ 2nd graders visited preschool friends at Our Lady Queen of Peace last week for some fun together! Children decorated donuts with frosting and sprinkles and practiced ball skills such as dribbling, catching, throwing and kicking in the gym. Great job, 2nd graders, for being such great role models!

Bunnies Visit Kindergartners

Mrs. Madej’s kindergartners learned first-hand about rabbits thanks to a visit from Shelby Wimet-Himelrick of Hop on Home Rabbit Sanctuary and two of her fluffy friends!
