Schalmont would like to remind our families that there will be no school for Grades K-5 on Thursday, March 13.

This Professional Development Day was added to our calendar in January to provide time for our elementary faculty and staff to work on a comprehensive literacy program that Schalmont is adopting.

“While we are slated to begin our new curriculum in September, there is significant planning and training that needs to occur in advance of our launch,” explained Principal Mr. Gifford. “We thank our families for their support of our ongoing efforts to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes for our youngest learners.”
