Jefferson Elementary students enjoyed having their favorite books read to them by High School students Thursday as the English Honor Society made their annual visit to the school library.
Young students led High Schoolers to the library’s book shelves where they picked books to share at tables. Older Jefferson students were also able to practice their literacy skills by reading to High School students.
Students then enjoyed a Thanksgiving-themed art project together as they talked about their favorite foods they were looking forward to next week.
