Included you will find some information regarding June Exams, which will take place from Thursday, June 13 through Tuesday, June 25, as well as information for the end of the year.
June Exam Information
Algebra 1 Regents Exam – June 4
The Algebra I Regents Exam will be administered on Tuesday, June 4 at 8:00 a.m. in Gym 2. Upon completion of the exam, students will resume their normal course schedule. Students will be given the opportunity to have lunch if they finish after their lunch period.
Transportation
All regular AM and PM bus routes will be provided during exam week. Additionally, we will provide mid-day buses home at 10:30 a.m., throughout the entire exam period from June 13 – 25. Late buses will run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast will be served in the Cafe throughout the week. Various lunch items will be served as well from 10:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Bag Room
Personal belongings cannot be brought into the testing locations. Students can secure their belongings in the Student Commons, which will be supervised during the testing sessions.
Staging Area
Upon arrival at the High School, students can deliver their belongings to the Bag Room then report to the Cafe. Once the testing locations are ready, students will be released from the Cafe to their designated testing area.
*Students are not permitted to leave the building/campus and return while waiting for an exam or a ride.
Electronic Devices
Electronic devices, such as cell phones, Apple watches, etc. are not allowed in the testing locations. These devices can be secured in the Bag Room, which will be supervised during the testing sessions.
Testing Conflicts
If a testing conflict occurs, when a student is scheduled to take two tests at the same time, the student should notify their school counselor and teachers. On the day of the test the student should report to the library to complete both exams concurrently. Supervised breaks will be provided as needed.
End of Year Information
Cap and Gown Pick Up
Seniors will be receiving their Cap and Gown on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 during lunch period in the Main Office.
Graduation Walk
The Senior Class will be participating in a “Graduation Walk” at Jefferson Elementary School on Monday, June 10. Students will report to the Cafe at 9:35 a.m. when released by the PA system, then will board the buses for Jefferson. Permission slips will be distributed in Social Studies classes on Monday, June 3 and should be returned by Friday, June 7.
Senior Picnic
The Senior Class Council will host the annual Senior Picnic on Wednesday, June 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., ending with a picture of the class on the Stadium Field.
Last Day of High School Classes
The last day of classes at the High School will be on Wednesday, June 12.
Locker Clean Out
All lockers should be completely cleaned out and emptied by Wednesday, June 12. Lockers will be emptied beginning on June 13.
12th Grade Chromebook Return
Once seniors no longer need their Chromebooks for coursework and exam preparation, they can return their device, with the charger, to the IT Help Desk over the course of the remaining days of school and June exam week.
BOCES CTE Last Day – Thursday, June 13
The last day of instruction for BOCES CTE is Thursday, June 13. Transportation will be provided.
