Schalmont Middle School students helped make Thanksgiving brighter for hundreds of area families by collecting 606 boxes of stuffing through their food drive for Concerned for the Hungry!
Each year, the National Junior Honor Society organizes a food drive to help the volunteer organization that fights hunger in Schenectady County. Donations help fill food baskets that are provided to area families for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Congratulations to all our students who helped, particularly Ms. Deming’s homeroom that had the most donations with 111 boxes!
