First graders had a spook-tacular time mixing Halloween fun with their love for reading at this year’s Storybook Pumpkin Patch! From Pete the Cat to Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn, students let their creativity run wild as they decorated pumpkins based on their favorite books and stories.
Families also joined the festivities, visiting classrooms to see the amazing pumpkins and share time together.
“I was so impressed with all of the different ideas that the children came up with and executed for their pumpkins. Thank you to our families for your help at home!” said Teacher Mrs. LeRoy, a sentiment echoed by all our teachers!
