Fourth graders enjoyed a hands-on lesson about their local aquifer this week thanks to guests from the Town of Rotterdam’s Public Works Department.
Gathered around a large model, students pretended to be storms as they sprayed water and watched how the water flowed. Students also tried to control water runoff by placing berms they made from modeling clay.
