Students in Rebecca Remis’ class are organizing their notes, vocabulary, and study resources in a completely new, digital way.
The ninth graders, armed with their Chromebooks and online textbooks, were able to create boards that function in a similar fashion to the popular social networking tool Pinterest to house all their related study material.
Students could add resources from their textbooks, videos from YouTube, images from websites and much more to their boards, allowing them to digitally store all the information they are learning in one place, as well as share it with others, including their teacher.
“It’s a great way to
what they have learned about hurricanes,” Remis said. “Each student’s
board will be unique.”
